Pizza Osc
My unit got frozen at start-up only showing the G/H light. What to do?
This issue was related to the first batch of Pizza, and there seemed to be power disconnected during startup, which corrupted the unit's memory. To permanently fix this issue, please upgrade to the latest Pizza Oscillator firmware (download below). To fix this issue on any version, re-format Pizza's memory:
- Boot Pizza while holding the SHAPE button.
- After formatting, Pizza will ask you with a LED animation to calibrate the V/OCT input.
- Plug a cable from OCT OSC to V/OCT input.
- Wait until it settles, and then unplug the cable to boot to normal operation.
Pizza is showing a LED animation at startup. What to do?
The module most probably asks you to automatically re-calibrate the V/OCT input. The animation points to V/OCT input and blinks twice at the OCT OSC button.
- Plug a cable from OCT OSC to V/OCT input.
- Wait until it settles, and then unplug the cable to boot to normal operation.
Pizza is not showing up as an external drive on my computer. What should I do?
Make sure to use a micro-USB cable capable of sending data: USB cables provided with a mobile phone will most likely work (you can test if your phone connects to the computer). On the other hand, USB cables supplied with power banks often provide only a power connection and won't work for data transfers.
How can I go back to factory settings?
Hold SHAPE at power up to reset user settings (RATIO oscillator settings, CTRL destinations).
Hold SHAPE and OCTAVE at power up to do a factory reset: resets user settings and calibration.
