Can I flash Kastle 2 firmware on my Kastle 1.5/Drum/ARP and vice versa?
- No, Kastle 2 uses completely different hardware, so the firmware isn’t interchangeable with previous Kastle versions.
Are the settings saved on power on/off?
- Kastle 2 saves input and output volumes, tempo, advanced settings /see the manual for those/, and the currently selected FX mode. All sound parameters are cleared when the device is powered off.
What cables can be used for patching?
- Kastle 2 comes with a pack of 10 cables with rounded pins, if you need more, you can grab extra long ones at B-shop or use any other breadboard wires (both round and square shaped).
How long do the batteries last?
- Up to 15-18 hours.
Can Kastle 2 charge AA batteries?
- No, Kastle 2 doesn’t charge batteries. It just prioritizes the USB when both options are available.
What is the USB-C for?
- Currently, the USB-C is used for powering the instrument and firmware updates.
